Because we make both the glass and the steel, your handrail and balustrade are templated together and fit each other perfectly. Alongside handrails we fabricate commercial kitchen stainless steel and custom architectural steelwork, all made and installed by our own team.

Curved Sapphire glass and LED handrail - waterfront home, Tennyson Point
A sculptural curved staircase at a waterfront home in Tennyson Point. Fusion Glass supplied and installed the curved low iron Sapphire glass balustrade - bent to follow the sweep of the stair so it reads crystal clear with no green tint - and fabricated the custom curved stainless steel handrail to match, with integrated LED strip lighting running the length of the rail to wash the oak treads at night. Yes. We template the stair, roll the stainless steel tube to the exact radius and rise, then fit it on site - see the Tennyson Point project above, where the curved handrail also carries LED lighting. Curved rails take longer to fabricate than straight ones, so we confirm lead time at quote stage.
Brushed (satin) stainless and mirror-polished stainless are the most common. Top rails can also be powder coated in colours such as Monument, black or white to match window frames and stringers.
Yes - we can add a stainless or powder coated handrail to an existing glass balustrade, or replace a dated rail with a new one.
